GOP Lawmaker Just Condemned Trump’s Decision To End DACA
Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-Fla.) blasted Donald Trump after reports revealed that he will soon be ending the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program started by former President Barack Obama in 2012.
“After teasing Dreamers for months with talk of his “great heart,” [Trump] slams door on them. Some “heart”…” Ros-Lehtinen tweeted Sunday.

Politicowas the first to report on Sunday that inside sources revealed that Trump is planning to end the DACA program with a six-month delay.
Trump has claimed “we love Dreamers,” but his decision to end a program that allows them to stay and work in the U.S. says otherwise.
Trump is using the six-month period to allow Congress to come up with a law that will give Dreamers the chance to have a legal status. The problem with that is that GOP leaders have struggled to pass immigration laws in the past.
