On Thursday, Rep. Scott Perry (R-Pa.) appeared on CNN and attacked host Chris Cuomo, saying that the network was making up false information about the circumstances in Puerto Rico.
Perry made an appearance on CNN’s “New Day” after Donald Trump tweeted out saying, “We cannot keep FEMA, the Military & the First Responders, who have been amazing (under the most difficult circumstances) in P.R. forever!”

Perry accused Cuomo of making up a fake story about the severity of what’s happening in Puerto Rico. “Mr. Cuomo, you’re simply just making this stuff up.”
“How am I making it up? What am I making up?” Cuomo questioned the congressman.
“If half the country didn’t have food or water, those people would be dying, and they’re not,” Perry responded.
Perry kept his attack going by asking Cuomo how much is enough to “satisfy your network.”
“But what is enough?” Perry asked. “Quantify what is enough that will satisfy your network.”
The power outage and severity in Puerto Rico are very much real. The island is making progress as FEMA estimated that 11.7 percent of Puerto Rico’s customers had their power returned.
