Graham Humiliated On Fox News After Host Rolls Video Of Him Predicting Trump’s Demise If He Fires Sessions

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC), who was once one of Donald Trump’s biggest critics in the Republican party, has become one of Trump’s biggest supporters in Congress. So on Thursday, when Fox News showed him a video clip of him denouncing the decision to fire Attorney General Jeff Sessions, Graham had no idea what to say.

Back in July 2017, Graham said there would be “holy hell to pay” if Trump fired Sessions to tamper with special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation and warned it would be “the beginning of the end of Trump’s presidency.”

Fox News anchor Matha MacCallum confronted the Senator on Thursday by showing him the clip of his old comments.

“When was that?” Graham said. “What year?”

“July of 2017,” said MacCallum.

“Hehehehehehehehe,” Graham laughed nervously. “So… Hehe. Yeah… So, what I’ve been saying for months is that every president deserves an Attorney General they have confidence in.”
