Grisham Says ‘People Should Pay’ For How ‘Horribly’ Trump Was ‘Treated’ During Impeachment Process
White House Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham, who has yet to hold a press briefing since taking over the job last July, appeared on Fox News on Thursday to defend Donald Trump after he was acquitted by the Republican Party.
Grisham claimed that people need to pay for how Trump was treated during the investigation and the trial.
“He and the family went through a lot, he and this country went through a lot,” she said. “He’s glad it’s over, he’s certainly going to talk about that. But I think he’s going to also talk about how just horribly he was treated and that maybe people should pay for that.”
