Group Of Trump-Supporting Men Harassed Woman Trying To Vote, Telling Her ‘She Should Be Deported’

A woman in Tennessee filed a police report on Tuesday after she was harassed by a group of Donald Trump supporters who told her that she should be deported

According to The Tennessean, the woman claimed that a group of five or six men confronted her as she was leaving her polling place where they started to harass her.

The men asked her if she voted, and when she said that she did, they proceeded to insult her.

“They said she should be deported and that it was basically her fault the country was falling apart,” Jacob Murrell, the spokesman for Sumner County Democratic Party, told the Tennessean.

The Tennessean reported that the woman was Hawaiian.

Hendersonville Police Department Sgt. Neal Harris tells the Tennessean that his department originally received a call about an incident at the polling place, although he says the caller did not provide enough specifics to investigate.

“We’re trying to get to the bottom of this to see if there is anything to investigate,” he tells the publication.
