A feud sparked last week between conservative Fox News host Sean Hannity and CNN’s Jake Tapper. The feud began after Tapper reported that a conservative media group was no longer presenting it’s highest award to Hannity, which was true.
The Media Research Center rescinded its William F. Buckley Award after the son of the legendary conservative commentator felt that Hannity did not deserve the award.
But, Hannity took matters to heart after Tapper reported on the topic. On Monday night Hannity urged his viewers to attack Tapper on Twitter, but the response was not what the Fox News host expected.

Did I hear @seanhannity asked people to talk about @jaketapper?? Cool. Jake is an excellent JOURNALIST. Sean, you are a PROPAGANDIST.

Hey @seanhannity – Many people say @jaketapper likes fancy mustard and tan suits. I say he he's one of America's finest journalists. https://t.co/3TrrEISLNJ

Realize I'm a little late @seanhannity but my thoughts on @jaketapper are pretty simple. pic.twitter.com/TFZLZtirIU

Even conservatives were siding with Tapper on this one.
I’m a conservative, and I think @jaketapper is one of the best in the business. Tough on Obama and tough on Trump. THAT’S fair and balanced.

Tapper shared his appreciation with everyone who defended him. He posted this on Twitter:
I don't think that one turned out the way he intended. Thanks, everyone. Very kind of you. pic.twitter.com/7ANilJ6scE

Well played Jake.
