‘He Was Killed By A Racist’: Sarah Sanders Gets Pounded To The Ground After Saying MLK Chose To Die
White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders took to Twitter on Monday where she tried to write a celebratory tweet about Martin Luther King Jr. Instead, she claimed that King “gave up” his life to fight racism.
“Today we honor a great American who gave his life to right the wrong of racial inequality. Our country is better thanks to his inspiration and sacrifice.”
— Sarah Sanders (@PressSec) January 21, 2019
Obviously, King didn’t choose to die as Sanders suggested, he was murdered for fighting for racial equality. So it was only natural for people to call Sanders out for her comments.

Martin Luther King would have fought with every drop of blood in his body against you and your overlord. You are a disgrace to everything he stood for. https://t.co/IVCGuvoM5b

He didn't "give" his life, you bird. It was taken from him by a white racist. Shut up. https://t.co/heevNcibex

"Gave his life" is a weird way to write "murdered by a white supremacist in coordination with the feds" https://t.co/QxSK1Aog3e

He was assassinated by a racist and if he were alive today you would have "both sided" him but sure. https://t.co/VYBD31u9ao

He ‘dedicated’ his life to right the wrongs of racial inequality- he was murdered In Memphis at age 39. He would surely have opposed the cruel, unjust policies of Donald Trump
