‘Heated’ Altercation Breaks Out At The WH After Pence Confronts Trump Over Obamacare Repeal

A new report revealed on Wednesday that Donald Trump got into a “heated” debate with Vice President Mike Pence and other Trump administration officials after they expressed “concerns” with the president’s plan to repeal the Affordable Care Act.

According to The New York Times, White House counsel Pat Cipillone, Attorney General William Barr and Pence have all expressed “concerns” about Trump’s current plan to repeal former President Barack Obama’s signature healthcare law.

The Times reported that on Monday a “heated” exchange took place at the Oval Office between those for and against the repeal of the ACA.

Pence, the Times noted, “was concerned about the political ramifications of moving ahead without a strategy or a plan to handle the suddenly uninsured if the suit succeeds.”

Trump has had trouble repealing the ACA even when all chambers of government were controlled by Republicans.
