Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton leads Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential race, several polls of registered voters show.
A new Washington Post/ABC News survey shows Clinton ahead by 12 points, 51% to 39%. A Fox News poll released on Wednesday showed Clinton with an 11-point lead over Trump, while a CBS/New York Times poll published earlier this week found Clinton with a 10-point lead over Trump. A Bloomberg survey on Wednesday put the gap even wider, with Clinton leading Trump by 18 points.
While Clinton is clearly in the lead, many polling experts caution against reading too much into head-to-head polls as perceptions of candidates can change between now and election day.
However, it might get even worse for Trump. The GOP presidential hopeful is a man of extremes: the biggest, the richest, the boldest, the most beautiful. Now he’s heading for another title: worst presidential candidate of all time. That’s quite an achievement.
