House Intelligence Committee Just Voted To Release Democratic Rebuttal Memo

Last week House Republicans released a memo that attacked the Department of Justice and the FBI. On Monday, Rep. Jim Himes (D-CT), a member of the House Intelligence Committee, told reporters that the panel voted unanimously to release the Democratic rebuttal memo.

NBC News producer Alex Moe first revealed the news via Twitter:

Last week the committee voted on releasing the GOP’s memo but decided not to release the Democratic rebuttal, until now.

Donald Trump blasted ranking House Intelligence Committee member Adam Schiff (D-CA) on Monday morning prior to today’s vote.

He tweeted:

“Little Adam Schiff, who is desperate to run for higher office, is one of the biggest liars and leakers in Washington, right up there with Comey, Warner, Brennan and Clapper! Adam leaves closed committee hearings to illegally leak confidential information. Must be stopped!”

Trump also attacked Democrats on Monday for not clapping during his State of the Union address, calling it “treasonous.”
