HUGE EVENT: Tens Of Thousands Expected To Attend “Not My Presidents Day” Protest

In honor of Presidents Day, on Monday, tens of thousands of people are expected to show up at rallies against Trump across the nation.

The event known as “Not My Presidents Day” has been planned for several weeks now and are scheduled to take place in New York City, Chicago, Los Angeles, Washington, D.C. and Baltimore, among other cities.

In New York City alone there will be almost 50 thousand people attending while tens of thousands have said they will attend other rallies nationwide.

The rallies were planned to be a peaceful protest against Trump’s policies, according to the descriptions on several Facebook events.

“Donald Trump stands against the progress we have worked hard to enact,” the descriptions read. “He does not represent our interests. He was voted in by a minority of the American public but governs as if there’s no resistance. But there is — and on February 20th, we will honor previous presidents by exercising our constitutional right to assemble and peacefully protest everything Donald Trump stands for.”

People are using their First Amendment rights to protest on what they believe in. Just one day after Trump took office, more than 3 million people gathered nationwide in the “Women’s March” protests, making it the largest protest in US history.

People also gathered across airports everywhere to protest against Trump’s Muslim ban.
