‘They Must Resign’: Internet Destroys Sens. Graham And Grassley For Trying To Cover Up Damning Trump Dossier Testimony

On Tuesday, Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein (Calif.) released the explosive transcript of a closed-door testimony that Fusion GPS co-founder Glenn Simpson made to the Senate Judiciary Committee about President Donald Trump’s alleged ties to Russia — and one of the biggest bombshells stemmed not from the dossier itself, but those who sought to keep it from the public.

GOP Sens. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and Chuck Grassley (R-IA) both fought tooth and nail on Monday to keep the transcript’s contents from the public, and once the damning details were released, the internet rained hell on them.

New York Times contributing writer Wajahat Ali tweeted: “[Fusion GPS founder] Glenn Simpson testimony is not a good look on Grassley, Graham, Republicans, Trump, the FBI. Why did they sit on all this info? Why did they only reveal Clinton email investigation? Why did Grassley/Graham go after Steele of all people?”

“No doubt that Grassley and Graham tried to keep quiet revelations that Fusion GPS reportedly had a walk-in whistleblower from the Trump campaign,” Mark Frost noted.
