UK Activists Project Trump vs. Obama Approval Ratings On Tower Of London And The Internet Is Having a Blast

Activists in the United Kingdom projected the country’s approval ratings of President Trump and former President Barack Obama on the Tower of London during Trump’s state visit to the UK.

The group posted a photo of the projection on Twitter, which shows Obama’s approval rating at 72 percent and Trump’s at 21 percent in the UK.

“Hi @realDonaldTrump. Just so you know, you’re wildly unpopular here in Britain. SAD!” the group tweeted Monday. “People REALLY don’t like you (though they love @BarackObama). Hope you like seeing your FAILING approval numbers projected onto the Tower of London.”

So far, the photo has been retweeted by thousands of Twitter users.

Led By Donkeys has previously used projections to promote certain causes. In April, the group projected a massive “SOS” signal on the White Cliffs of Dover, urging leaders to let UK voters have the final say on Brexit.

The approval rating numbers on the projection cite current data from YouGov.

Trump’s three-day state visit to the UK, which kicked off Monday morning with a visit to Buckingham Palace, is expected to be met with mass protests.
