The month of June is LGBTQ Pride Month and on Thursday Ivanka Trump tried to show he support, but Twitter users were fast to shut her down.
She tweeted:
“Logging back on after Shavuot, wishing everyone a joyful #Pride2017. This month we honor the #LGBTQ community.”

“I am proud to support my LGBTQ friends and the LGBTQ Americans who have made immense contributions to our society and economy,” Trump added in a second tweet.

It didn’t take long at all for Twitter users to point out that her message contradict Donald Trump’s actions against the LGBTQ community.
Tread carefully dear. Your father is not a fan of the #LGBT, and your pandering doesn't make us appreciate your sentiment.

You're embarrassing yourself. Quit pretending. pic.twitter.com/BGFs2Gdr3L

Trump has shown, in multiple ways, that he doesn’t support the LGBTQ community, even if he says otherwise. One of his policies include taking away protection from transgender students’ bathroom rights.
Trump also picked the most anti-LGBTQ person as his Vice President. Mike Pence has openly opposed marriage equality and has shown his support for so-called “conversion therapy”.
And if all that wasn’t enough, Trump also outraged the LGBTQ community when the Census Bureau announced in late March that questions relating to sexual orientation or gender identity won’t be included in the 2020 census.
Except for the trans people who are denied rights? Or the LGBTQ people living in states that are trying to bring "religious freedom," right?

Here’s what Twitter users had to say to Ivanka:
Oh god please don't make this your next cause I don't want to lose marriage equality https://t.co/bhFhjOTkXc

You don't get to honor the LGBTQ community when the VP supports gay conversion therapy and your dad supports bathroom bills

You tweeted the wrong thing. I think you meant to say this: pic.twitter.com/2kSyGexOll

Tweet at your dad, please.

You and your vile family are no friend to the LGBT community. Bye! pic.twitter.com/IXVXhEKr5u

As your daddy removes the PM of Luxembourg's spouse from a spouse pic because he's in a same sex marriage. Shameful!
