Jim Acosta Corners Sarah Sanders, Urges Her To Say Who Are ‘The Enemy Of The People’ – Here’s Her Chilling Response:
White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders was questioned by CNN’s Jim Acosta to answer which media outlets Donald Trump refers to when he says “the enemy of the people.”
But Sanders refused to answer the question as she downplayed Trump’s role in inciting the recent hateful acts of violence that have terrorized the country.
“The president is not referencing all media, he’s talking about the growing amount of fake news in the country, and he’s calling that out,” Sanders said.
Acosta then accused Sanders of not having “the guts” to point out who the president talks about when he refers to the “fake news media.”
“I think it’s irresponsible of a news organization like yours to blame responsibility of a pipe bomb that was not sent by the president, not just blame the president but blame members of his administration for those heinous acts,” Sanders said.
Sanders was referring to a statement from CNN President Jeff Zucker, who accused her and Trump of spreading hate against the press.
“The President, and especially the White House Press Secretary, should understand their words matter,” Zucker said last Wednesday. “Thus far, they have shown no comprehension of that.”
