Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) decided to walk out of a hearing that featured women detailing their experiences of being sexually harassed by male judges.
According to Courthouse News reporter Megan Mineiro, it took Jordan less than an hour to walk out of the House Judiciary Committee hearing on judicial sexual harassment.
Mineiro notes that Jordan himself has been accused of helping to cover up systemic sexual abuse during his tenure as a wrestling coach at Ohio State University.
It was even reported earlier this week that a former OSU wrestling captain told the Ohio House Civil Justice Committee that Jordan had asked him to help cover up the sex abuse scandal.
Rep. Jim Jordan was in the room for this sexual harassment hearing but has since left. Jordan is facing allegations that he covered up reports of sexual harassment when he was a wrestling coach at Ohio State.
