John Bolton ‘Is Willing To Defy Trump’ And Testify In Front Of The House: Report
Donald Trump’s former national security adviser John Bolton, who left his post after multiple months of feuding with the president, is now reportedly “willing to defy” the White House and testify in front of the House of Representatives as part of the impeachment inquiry.
According to The Washington Post, “The former national security adviser, who abruptly left his post in September, is expected to confirm their statements and describe his conversations with Trump, according to the people, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because of the ongoing inquiry.”
Bolton is willing to testify as long as he is legally cleared to do so, the Post reports.
His testimony is expected to be “damaging” to Trump, according to a person familiar with the matter.
