Kellyanne Conway Seals Her Fate By Turning On Trump During CNN Interview
Donald Trump’s White House counselor Kellyanne Conway admitted on Monday during an interview with CNN’s Christiane Amanpour that the president’s attacks on the free press are “not healthy.”
Amanpour interviewed Conway for her first interview on her new show, “Amanpour and Company,” where she asked the White House counselor over Trump’s rising tension with the media and if there was “some way to get out” of it.
That’s when Conway agreed and claimed that Trump’s attack on the media “are not healthy.”
“I do agree that it’s not healthy for the body politic on either side,” Conway responded, later adding that she “and others have tried, the president has tried, to turn down the temperature, to give more access.”
But, Conway then concluded by attacking the media herself and claiming that they don’t focus on the economy.
“I think the media will start covering the economy if it ever goes down,” Conway said. “I think they’ll start covering the regulation if it ever starts going up again.”
