Donald Trump’s White House counselor Kellyanne Conway appeared on Fox News on Monday to speak about the tragic terrorist attack that took place at a New Zealand mosque over the weekend where the shooter mentioned Trump as inspiration for his attack.
Conway had one goal in mind during her interview with Fox News, to get viewers to believe that Trump had no influence whatsoever in the terrorist’s intentions.
Conway urged Fox viewers to read the terrorist’s entire manifesto, where he, in fact, mentions Trump and cites him as an inspirational “symbol of white identity.”
“He put out a 70-page manifesto, and I guess everybody scoured it and searched for Donald Trump’s name, and there it is one time,” she said. “But he also said he aligns closely with the ideology of China, he’s not a conservative, he’s not a Nazi, I think he referred to himself as an ‘eco-naturalist’ or ‘eco-fascist.’ People should read [the manifesto] in its entirety.”

But Twitter users weren’t going to let Conway get away with spreading her “alternative facts.” Here’s how Twitter users responded:
The shooter literally named Trump in his manifesto as one of his reasons for doing it.

If ever points can be missed by miles, expect Kellyanne Conway to be there.

Remember when terrorists didn't cite the president as inspiration?

The terrorist wrote that Trump is "a symbol of renewed white identity and common purpose". There is no way for Kellyanne Conway to know that the terrorist didn’t mean what he wrote. The terrorist isn’t the first white nationalist to hail Trump either.

What is wrong with these people ?

People should watch the ENTIRE prom video so they understand that Kellyanne only looks this way during the last 10 minutes of it.

So she’s basically promoting this guys agenda? Okay I just have no words.

We’re at the part where the U.S. president’s spokeswoman suggests reading a mass shooter’s manifesto. This should bother you!

I'm not sure reading is the strong point of this audience.
