Donald Trump’s State of the Union address seemed to target one group of people as it received appraisal from former KKK leader David Duke and white supremacist activist Richard Spencer.
Trump touched on the subject of immigration during his speech where he stated that “Americans are dreamers too.” That statement drew a lot of criticism from a lot of people but was praised by none other than white supremacists.
“My duty and the sacred duty of every elected official in this chamber is to defend Americans — to protect their safety, their families, their communities, and their right to the American Dream. Because Americans are dreamers too,” Trump said.
Both Spencer and Duke took to Twitter to share their appreciation of the President’s speech.
“Americans are dreamers, too.”

Thank you President Trump. Americans are "Dreamers" too.

This isn’t the kind of attraction Trump wants to get if he really wants people to believe he isn’t a racist. But he keeps proving otherwise.
