Laura Ingraham, the Fox News host who has lost advertisers over her undeniable support for Donald Trump, told her viewers last week that they should listen to the president over the opinion of White House Coronavirus Task Force member Dr. Anthony Fauci.
Recently, Dr. Fauci threw cold water on Trump’s declaration that the malaria drug chloroquine is a “game-changer” in the fight against the growing coronavirus health crisis.
But according to Ingraham, we should be listening to Trump on this subject.
“Our physicians are already using it in our major hospitals for COVID patients,” Ingraham said. “They also used it successfully in some cases against SARS which had a higher mortality rate. The president, as usual, has sharp instincts. He sees things that sometimes the intellectuals and the academics, they might get lost in some of the details, but he has sharp instincts about things, and he’s pushing to get millions of doses now into the United States.”
