Lindsey Graham Gets Chewed Out After Joking About Killing Iranian Civilians: ‘Your Bloodlust Is Disturbing’

Republican Senator Lindsey Graham decided to take to Twitter on Friday to not only praise the Trump administration for carrying out airstrikes in Iraq that killed Maj. Gen. QassimSuleimani, but he also joked around about innocent Iranian civilians being killed by the U.S. military.
Graham’s words took on a provocative tone, warning the Iranian government: “if you want more, you will get more.”
“If Iranian aggression continues and I worked at an Iranian oil refinery, I would think about a new career,” Graham added, warning that even civilians won’t be spared in any future potential US military operations that target the regime.
Wow – the price of killing and injuring Americans has just gone up drastically. Major blow to Iranian regime that has American blood on its hands. Soleimani was one of the most ruthless and vicious members of the Ayatollah's regime. He had American blood on his hands.

Graham was called out on Twitter for encouraging the killing of civilians. Here’s how Twitter users responded:
I think what you might be describing is called a war crime.

If I were a thin-lipped creepy pedo-looking Senator who swallowed gallons of @realDonaldTrump's ejaculate over the last three years, I'd think about a new career.
You should think about a new career.

It's all about the oil, isn't it?

You’re sick. So cavalier with other people’s lives.

Love to casually threaten to kill civilians

Is this kind of threat a violation of @Twitter terms of service ? Cc @jack (see above)

That’s War Criminal Talk!
— adam from philly (@adamfromphilly) January 3, 2020
This sounds terrible and possible a war crime

good to know that legislators like you value oil more than human lives
— fucking end me (@gralandola) January 3, 2020
Is this you admitting that this is about the oil?
— Doc (@Emberoth) January 3, 2020
You can't really threaten war crimes while at the same time arguing that you were justified killing a foreign official, because of his war crimes.

"If American aggression continues and I worked at an American oil refinery, I would think about a new career."
Imagine Iran making this statement. As MLK said, the US is the greatest purveyor of violence and terrorism in the world.
All for oil and gas.

This is a serious matter and you're sending ridiculous tweets like this, threatening workers at oil refineries? Your beef is with the Iranian government. Why threaten common workers? Your bloodlust is disturbing senator.
