Martin Luther King III shamed Donald Trump on Monday during the celebration of his father. King spoke with TMZ on Monday when he told them that his father would be ashamed of where the country is right now.
“Here’s where he would be,” King told TMZ. “He would be most concerned about workers who are unemployed because the government is shut down because the president is focused on a wall, which maybe is needed — but is that more important than making sure people can make ends meet?”
“It’s inhumane,” he added. “People can’t eat, people can’t pay their healthcare bills, people can’t buy prescriptions, people can’t pay their mortgages, people can’t get car loans. That is unconscionable.”
