Maxine Waters Just Said What’s On Everyone’s Mind About Donald Trump
Maxine Waters, Representative of California, said what we all think of Donald Trump on live television. The Democratic lawmaker, who has called for Trump’s impeachment multiple times, flat out said that she does not “respect this president” during an interview with Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.”
“I don’t honor him,” Waters said. “I don’t respect this president. I don’t think that he deserves to be president of this great country. I am very concerned about him and I really think he’s dangerous. This is abnormal what we’re experiencing with this president.”
Waters has been an ongoing critic of Trump, challenging the president on issues ranging from his treatment of women to taxes.
During last Saturday’s Tax March Waters called for Trump’s impeachment while urging him to release his taxes.
“Show the people your taxes,” she said, calling Trump a “liar” for claiming he cannot release his tax returns because of an ongoing IRS audit. “Stop stonewalling, stop hiding.”
“I will fight every day until he is impeached,” Waters added, leading audience members in chants of “impeach 45.”
Waters also said during her interview on “Morning Joe” that she plans to keep fighting until Trump is impeached.
“I believe that if we have the credible investigations that it will lead to his impeachment,” she told Scarborough and Brzezinski. “I believe that.”
