McCabe Just Turned Over Trump Memos To Mueller’s Team After Meeting: Report

Just a day after getting fired, former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe met up with investigators on special counsel Robert Mueller’s team where he handed over memos documenting interactions with Donald Trump.

According to Axios, McCabe told Mueller’s team about what he knows of Trump’s move to fire former FBI Director James Comey last year.

McCabe’s memo’s reportedly back up Comey’s claims about unusual meetings he had with Trump just months prior to being fired.

According to Comey, Trump had asked him to pledge his loyalty while also urging him to drop the FBI’s investigation into former national security adviser Michael Flynn.

McCabe spoke with CNN following his ouster. He claimed that the move to fire him was politically motivated and intended to undercut Mueller’s Russia investigation.
