McCain’s Widow Slams Lindsey Graham For Saying Trump And McCain Would Be Friends ‘Overtime’

Following Senator John McCain’s (R-AZ) death, Republican Senator Lindsey Graham spread a rumor that Donald Trump and McCain would have become friends “overtime.”

Graham’s statement was told to the Associated Press. On Tuesday, TMZ questioned McCain’s widow Cindy McCain to see if what the Republican senator said was actually true.

She quickly debunked the story and told the news outlet:

“My husband is at peace. I know he is at peace for what he did and how he felt. I wish he was still here.”
