Members Of Prince’s Estate Slam Trump For Using His Music At Rallies And Urge Him To Stop

Members of Prince’s estate are tired of hearing Prince’s music being played at Donald Trump’s campaign-style rallies and have now urged the president to stop using the artist’s music, according to the Minneapolis Star Tribune.

Jeremiah Freed, a longtime associate of Prince, wrote on Twitter saying:

“The Prince Estate has never given permission to President Trump or The White House to use Prince’s songs and have requested that they cease all use immediately.”

Omarr Baker, Prince’s brother, also echoed the same message:

According to The Star Tribune, the request was made after Trump used the song “Purple Rain” at a rally in Mississippi last week.
