Michael Flynn’s Latest Move Raises More Suspicion In Russia Investigation
Former national security adviser Michael Flynn is a name that is filled with controversy. Back in February, he left the White House after reports emerged that he had failed to reveal conversations with Russian officials about removing sanctions against the country in the month before President Trump’s inauguration.
On Tuesday CNN reported that Flynn is now refusing to comply with a request to testify in front of the Senate Intelligence Committee.
This isn’t the first time Flynn refuses to comply. Back in May Flynn refused to comply with a subpoena to testify because the Senate refused to give him the immunity he asked for.
Both the House and Senate intel committees are conduction investigations into Russia’s interference in the 2016 presidential election, which includes investigation Trump campaign officials with possible ties to Russia.
Flynn’s constant refusal to testify raises concerns and suspicion that he has something to hide.
