Vice President Mike Pence claimed on Thursday that he’s “kind of a big deal” after Oprah Winfrey made an appearance in Georgia to endorse the Democratic candidate for governor Stacey Abrams.
“I heard Oprah is in town today. I heard Will Ferrell was going door-to-door the other day. I’d like to remind Stacey and Oprah and Will Ferrell, I’m kind of a big deal, too,” the Vice President said, attemting to garner support for GOP governor Brian Kemp.
“And I’ve got a message for all of Stacey Abrams’ liberal Hollywood friends: This ain’t Hollywood. This is Georgia. And Georgia wants a governor that’s going to put Georgia values and Georgia first. And Brian Kemp is going to do just that,” Pence added, as The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
“I heard Oprah was in town today. And I heard Will Ferrell was going door-to-door the other day. Well I’d like to remind Stacey and Oprah and Will Ferrell — I'm kind of a big deal, too,” Vice President Mike Pence said at a campaign event for gubernatorial candidate Brian Kemp pic.twitter.com/74AsupqST8

But people weren’t buying into Pence’s BS.
Never bring a Mike Pence to an Oprah fight

Good Lord, even Vice Sycophant's pathetic "joke" is nothing but a lie. Vote Stacey Abrams @staceyabrams for Governor, and @TheDemocrats progressive Democratic candidates at county & local levels. Reject voter suppression, racism & corruption—and make Georgia proud again. ❤️ 🇺🇸 🗽

But unlike Will and Oprah, @VP hasn’t brought joy to any person’s life at all.

I want to remind @VP he was second (or third?) Trump's choice and by 2021 we will forget about him
