Mueller Just Indicted Paul Manafort’s ‘Russian Brain’: Report
In the latest Russian investigation revelations, it was announced on Friday that special counsel Robert Mueller has indicted Paul Manafort’s longtime associate with recent ties to Russian intelligence.
According to Bloomberg News, the special counsel indicted Konstantin Kilimnik on three counts in federal court on Friday.
Trump’s former campaign chairman constantly described Kilimnik as his “Russian brain” while they had a partnership in Eastern Europe.
Earlier this week, Mueller had filed a new indictment against Manafort after trying to influence witness testimony in the investigation, on conspiracy to obstruct justice, and obstruction of justice charges.
According to Bloomberg, Kilimnik was hit with those same charges.
So far in Mueller’s investigation, he has been able to get five guilty pleas and 18 indictments, all of which are related to the interference in the 2016 presidential election.
