In another mass shooting in America, a shooter opened fire in the West Freeway Church of Christ in White Settlement near Fort Worth, several news outlets reported Sunday.
Several people were killed and another is in critical condition, according to The Daily News.
“The church was live-streaming its service at the time of the attack, according to WFAA. Parishioners at the mostly full church appeared to duck behind pews and covered their heads, according to the livestream. The suspected shooter was among the people taken to the hospital, authorities said,” local station KIRO reported.
According to the Washington Examiner, “Witnesses said they saw the gunman shoot someone with a shotgun during communion, which prompted another parishioner to shoot him. However, some outlets reported that an armed security guard ‘subdued’ the suspect.”
