‘My Son Is A Good Person!’: Trump Loses It After Learning Don Jr Was Subpoenaed By Republicans – Watch
Donald Trump was not very pleased after learning that his son, Donald Trump Jr., was subpoenaed by the Republican-led Senate Intelligence Committee.
Less than a day after learning that his son was being subpoenaed, Trump spoke to reporters at the White House and claimed that he was shocked by the news.
“I was very surprised to see my son,” Trump said. “My son is a very good person. He works very hard. The last thing he needs is Washington, D.C.”
“He has testified for 20 hours or something,” he continued. “A massive amount of time. The Mueller report came out. That is the Bible. The Mueller report came out. They said he did nothing wrong.”
Trump went on to claim that his son was completely exonerated by the Mueller report.
“My son is a good person,” Trump said. “My son testified for hours and hours. My son was totally exonerated by [special counsel Robert Mueller], who, frankly, does not like Donald Trump. Me, this Donald Trump.”
“And, frankly, for my son, after being exonerated, to now get a subpoena?” he said. “To go again and speak again after close to 20 hours of telling everybody that would listen about a nothing meeting? Yeah, I’m pretty surprised.”
