New Scientific Research Proves Republican Voters Are Increasingly Less Educated
Donald Trump’s victory in the 2016 election left many people baffled. How can a man who confessed to sexual abuse, promoted violence and bullying, and shows no respect for others be voted into the highest office in the world? Well, according to a new scientific study, you can blame Republicans for that.
According to a new study by the Pew Research Center, Republican voters are becoming increasingly less educated.
The polling organization now finds “the widest educational gap in partisan identification and learning seen at any point in more than two decades” between Republican voters and Democrat voters.
According to the poll, 24 years ago, the majority of voters(54%) were Republicans with four-year college degrees. Only 39% of voters with a four-year college degree identified as Democrat.
Now, those numbers have completely switched. As of 2017, the majority of Americans with four-year college degrees now identify as Democrats.
The poll goes even deeper and finds that the majority of voters with post-graduate degrees(63%) are also identifying as Democrats.
The poll also found that the majority of Republican voters’ highest education was a high school diploma of less.
“Among those with no more than a high school education, 47 percent affiliated with the GOP or lean Republican, while 45 percent identify as Democrats or lean Democratic,”
