NFL Player Bashes ‘Goober’ Trump For Attacking Black Athletes More Than Neo-Nazis Marching In DC This Weekend

Donald Trump lashed out at NFL players who protest police brutality on Friday once again. Trump took to Twitter on Friday after multiple preseason NFL games took place Thursday night. He once again attacked players who knelt during the national anthem.

Trump tweeted saying:

“The NFL players are at it again – taking a knee when they should be standing proudly for the National Anthem. Numerous players, from different teams, wanted to show their “outrage” at something that most of them are unable to define. They make a fortune doing what they love.”

In response, New Orleans Saints defensive end Cameron Jordan called Trump out for taking time out of his busy day to attack black athletes who are peacefully protesting rather than calling out the neo-Nazis that are planning to march in Washington D.C. this weekend.

Jordan wrote on Twitter:

“Guy who won the presidential election… how about we get a statement on the “unite the right” rally 2 being held in DC this weekend… a yr after the first one in Charlottesville???”

But Jordan didn’t stop there. He continued to rip Trump and even called him a “goober.”

“Only way to say it. What a Goober,” he wrote. “He is who I thought he was. Guy is 70+ yr old acting out in what was once the highest respected political position, as a overly insecure prepubescent child… He won’t govern himself, give him a mentor? Right, members of his cabinet left on their own accord or were dismissed accordingly… But what do I know I’m just a guy who should stick to football.”
