NJ Police Chief Caught Calling Female Town Council President A ‘B*tch’ Before Saying He’d ‘Like To Kill Her’
A newly revealed audio recording shows Englewood Cliffs Police Chief Michael Cioffi calling his own town council president a “b*tch” while also claiming to want to “kill” her.
According to NJ.com, Cioffi’s claims were discovered during a search process of a lawsuit he filed against the borough.
The recordings show Cioffi regularly attacking Council President Carrol McMorrow, whom he calls “one hell of a b*tch” at one point.
But what’s more incriminating about the recording is when Cioffi seemed to be fantasizing about killing McMorrow when he said he’d “like to kill her,” according to NJ.com.
McMorrow told NJ.com that she’s “extremely concerned” about Cioffi’s claims.
“Just imagine, our chief of police, on duty, carrying a borough-issued gun, discussing with a borough employee whether or not ending my life would be worth it,” McMorrow said of the recording. “I am extremely concerned about this conversation.”
According to James Patuto, an attorney who has represented Cioffi in the past, the police chief was not serious about his remarks and was just expressing his frustration.
We will let you decided if that’s the case. Listen to the audio recording below:
