NRA’s Dana Loesch Goes On Crazy Rage Against The Media For Calling School Shootings ‘Mass Shootings’
National Rifle Association spokeswoman Dana Loesch went on a raged rant targetting the media for calling mass murders that involved guns “mass shootings.”
Loesch spoke during an NRA TV segment where she said the that “mass shooting is such a funny description” for massacres that involve firearms. Her logic was that “we don’t call them mass knifings when” knives are involved.
“Suddenly, it’s a murder spree or a mass casualty incident, but when a gun is involved, it’s a mass shooting,” Loesch complained. “And that’s so the focus remains on the firearm.”
Take a look at the video clip below:
"We don’t call them mass knifings when they happen in the UK, a country more than happy to have the kinds of law the @nytimes editorial page apparently approves of. Suddenly it’s a murder spree…But when a gun is involved it’s called a mass shooting." —@DLoesch #TuesdayThoughts pic.twitter.com/fsY3wu0xo2
