Obama Sends Best Wishes To McCain: ‘Cancer Doesn’t Know What It’s Up Against’
Arizona Senator John McCain, an American war hero, was diagnosed with a brain tumor on Wednesday. Former President Barrack Obama sent his best wishes to McCain.
“John McCain is an American hero and one of the bravest fighters I’ve ever known. Cancer doesn’t know what it’s up against. Give it hell, John,” Obama tweeted.

The brain tumor was discovered after McCain underwent a minor procedure last week to remove a blood clot from above his left eye.
McCain has been one of the harshest Republican critics of Donald Trump. The two of them have not been on the same page. The president even went as far as saying “I like people who weren’t captured,” referring to when McCain was a prisoner of war (POW). Then he added that McCain wasn’t a hero.
