Obama Tweets Gracious Support For Students Marching Against Gun Violence

Former President Barack showed his support for all the students taking part in the March For Our Lives rallies across the country calling for action on gun violence.

Obama took to Twitter on Saturday to tell all the students that they “inspire” him and his wife Michelle Obama.

He tweeted:

“Michelle and I are so inspired by all the young people who made today’s marches happen. Keep at it. You’re leading us forward. Nothing can stand in the way of millions of voices calling for change.”

The marches took place across all 50 states and on six continents. Hundreds of thousands of young students gathered to protest gun violence and urged lawmakers to step up and do something about it.

Survivors of the horrific shooting that took place at a Florida high school last month gathered at the doorsteps of the U.S. Capitol in Washinton D.C. where the main rally took place.
