Donald Trump made false accusations about former President Barrack Obama this past weekend, Saying that he wiretapped into Trump tower prior to the election.
“Terrible! Just found out that Obama had my ‘wires tapped’ in Trump Tower just before the victory. Nothing found. This is McCarthyism!” Trump first tweeted on Saturday, offering no evidence to back up his claims.
The news finally made its way to Obama and he responded with a simple “roll of the eyes.”

According to a source who spoke with CNN, Obama thinks that Trump’s claims without any proof or evidence “undermine the integrity of the office.”
The source also stated that Obama “is much more concerned by President Trump kicking people off health insurance, not staffing the government, not being prepared for a crisis, rolling back regulations so that corporations can pollute the air and water and letting mentally unstable people buy guns with no problems whatsoever.”
“He cares about all those things much more than what President Trump tweets at the TV each morning,” the source told NBC News.
Obama spokesman Kevin Lewis also responded to the claims directly after Trump tweeted them out.
“A cardinal rule of the Obama administration was that no White House official ever interfered with any independent investigation led by the Department of Justice,” he said.
“As part of that practice, neither President Obama nor any White House official ever ordered surveillance on any U.S. citizen. Any suggestion otherwise is simply false.”
