Is it sad when the president of the Unite States calls out the media for being “fake news” and only 30 people stand behind him on that idea? Yes, it’s quite sad.
On Saturday a group of Trump supporters attempted to protest “fake news: outside of CNN’s headquarters in Atlanta, but it did not go as expected. Only 30 people showed up to the event.
According to The Atlanta Journal Constitution, the event was live-streamed through the Breitbart News website. The protest featured people holding signs that said things like “Beware fake news” and “CNN: Criminal News Network.”
“We’re here to tell CNN no more fake news,” organizer Melanie Morgan told the AJC. “They have to know people who are here expect fairness in journalism.”
It’s not even fair to compare this pro-Trump event to all the anti-Trump events that have taken place since Trump took office.
