‘Our Nation Is Suffering’: GOP Gov Announces Presidential Run As He Bashes Trump

Former Massachusetts Gov. Bill Weld (R) doesn’s seem very pleased with the way the country is being run by Donald Trump and decided that it was time to challenge him in the primaries.

On Monday, the former governor made the announcement that he would be challenging Trump and would be running for president in 2020.

“Ours is a nation built on courage, resilience, and independence. In these times of great political strife, when both major parties are entrenched in their ‘win at all cost’ battles, the voices of the American people are being ignored and our nation is suffering,” Weld said in a statement on Monday.
