Owner Forced To Close Minneapolis Bar After News Revealed He Supported KKK Leader David Duke
Club Jäger, a bar in Minneapolis, Minnesota, was forced to be closed on Friday after it was revealed that owner Julius De Roma had made a donation to former Ku Klux Klan leader David Duke’s Senate bid last year.
After the story broke out, entertainers and staffers at the bar quit. Without any employees, the bar was forced to close.
De Roma defended his donation to local television station WCCO this week as “free speech.”
“Well, whatever,” De Roma said. “What do you expect? It’s basically something that is blown up beyond what it should be.”
It wasn’t only the employees who were infuriated, but costumers who found out also decided to boycott the establishment.
