Adam Schiff Obtains Letter Exposing Trump Of Getting ‘Large Financial Gains’ From Russia After Winning The Presidency
A new report revealed on Wednesday that Goerge Papadopoulos, former Trump campaign adviser, decided to brag about all the money he and Donald Trump gained following Trump’s presidential victory in 2016.
According to The Atlantic, a source claiming to be close to Papadopoulos sent a letter to Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) on November 19. The letter revealed that Papadopoulos said he was “doing a business deal with Russians which would result in large financial gains for himself and Mr. Trump.”
The Antlantic reported: “The letter was also obtained by federal authorities, who are taking its claims ‘very seriously,’ said two U.S. officials who also requested anonymity due to the sensitivities of the probe.”
The source that sent the letter to Schiff told the Democratic leader that he would be will to take a polygraph exam “to prove that I am being truthful.”
The letter writer explained their motivations as a desire to come forward after watching Papadopoulos “become increasingly hostile towards those who are investigating him and his associates.”
