Parkland Dad Issues Brutal Response After Trump WH Lies About Kavanaugh’s Handshake Refusal

Donald Trump’s White House sent out a statement on Tuesday regarding the incident that took place during a recess at Brett Kavanaugh’s hearing.

According to video footage and photo evidence, Fred Guttenberg – father of a Parkland shooting victim – had approached Kavanaugh to introduce himself only to be looked in the eyes and then ignored.

Guttenberg had issued a statement following the incident on his Twitter:

“Just walked up to Judge Kavanaugh as morning session ended,” Guttenberg said. “Put out my hand to introduce myself as Jaime Guttenberg’s dad. He pulled his hand back, turned his back to me and walked away. I guess he did not want to deal with the reality of gun violence.”

Following his statement, the White House released their own side of the story without any evidence to back it up.

White House Principal Press Secretary Raj Shaw took to Twitter to claim:

“As Judge Kavanaugh left for his lunch break, an unidentified individual approached him. Before the Judge was able to shake his hand, security had intervened.”

Guttenberg took notice of the tweet and decided to fire back.

“Incorrect,” he claimed. “I was here all day and introduced by Senator Feinstein. No security involved. He turned and walked away.”
