Paul Ryan Gets Destroyed Online For Bragging About Destroying Social Programs To Cut Taxes For The Rich
House Speaker Paul Ryan is being dragged all over the internet for bragging about achieving his “decades-long dream” as Congress prepares to vote on the deeply unpopular, $1.5 trillion Republican tax reform bill.
Ryan, who has spent his legislative career trying to shred the social safety net and give massive tax cuts for the rich, took a victory lap just hours before the vote, writing on Twitter: “Today has been a moment decades in the making. Let’s get it done.”
Well, social media users were not amused to see the Wisconsin Republican celebrate the impending realization of his dreams of stealing from poor Americans to subsidy the rich, and they quickly buried him in scorn and mockery.

Bad bill, bad policy. You had “decades” to put this shoddy crap show together? I wouldn’t be broadcasting that.

So, what you're saying is, you've been working on the Death Star for a loooong time. I get it. It's hard work. There's a lot of pressure from the Emperor, to get things done so he can start blowing up planets. Good on you for realizing your lifetime dreams! #Kleptocracy

The @GOP has become a morally bankrupt and repugnant political party and that starts at the top with Trump, yourself and Mitch McConnell. No ideas for America, other than to fleece and rob people who need tax relief the most. Can't wait for you to resign

You make me sick.

A vast majority of Americans oppose your #GOPTaxScam. Why do you oppose the will of the people?

You haven’t simplified the tax code at all.
Haven’t justified cutting the top individual rate or estate tax.
Haven’t explained how lowering corporate rate will keep companies here.
Haven’t secured repatriation from offshore.
And you’re adding to debt during an economic high.

Today you vote to take away health care away from millions, raises taxes on the most vulnerable and make you and your friends richer. It’s not an accomplishment, it’s robbery. Your place in history will be sealed as the example of greed and corruption.
