A new poll done by SurveyMonkey just revealed a question many people have been asking. Why would anyone support Donald Trump after all the bad things he has done?
According to the poll, 89% of Trump supporters trust news coming from Trump before they see it on CNN. And one-third of all Republicans strictly watch Fox News and nothing else.
Trump loves to tweet, especially when it means starting a controversy. It’s as if he loves all the attention.
The poll shows that only 7% of Americans think Trump’s tweets are presidential, while 34% think the tweets are outright “mean.”
The vice president of SurveyMonkey’s research, Jon Cohen, said that those those surveyed see Trump as isolated from the GOP base.
“Not only do most Republicans approve of his use of Twitter, but asked to describe those tweets, the No. 1 mention among the GOP is ‘truthful,’ with ‘entertaining’ in second place,” Cohen said.
Something the Republican Party should be fearful about is that independent voters do not support Trump’s Twitter meltdowns. A full three-quarters outright disapprove of Trump’s tweeting, and their top three descriptors for it are ‘undignified,’ ‘mean,’ and ‘dishonest.'”
