‘The President Has Dementia’, Source Close To Trump Tells Morning Joe
MSNBC host Joe Scarborough has revealed that people close to Donald Trump told him the president is suffering from dementia.
“Donald Trump is completely detached from reality,” Scarborough said During MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” Thursday.
“You have somebody inside the White House that the New York Daily News says is mentally unfit,” Scarborough said.
“That people close to him say is mentally unfit, that people close to him during the campaign told me had early stages of dementia.”
Scarborough said the country is closer to war on the Korean peninsula than most Americans know.
“We heard this months ago, that we are going to have a ground war in Korea, they believe that inside the White House for a very long time,” Scarborough said.
“If this is not what the 25th Amendment was drafted for,” he added, referring to the amendment that covers presidential succession and the response to a president with disabilities.
Bipartisan observers, as well as military leaders and U.S. allies around the world, are increasingly concerned about Trump’s mental state, his judgment and his understanding of the resonance of his global voice and the gravity of his role with a wild sequence of insults, inflammatory tweets and bizarre comments.
“I have no idea what would motivate him to do that,” former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper said told CNN on Tuesday. “To me, it’s bizarre and disturbing, particularly when I think of him doing that in the context of North Korea, where moderation, and temperance and thought I think is critical.”
