Trump Is ‘Bouncing Off The Walls’ With Anger Over New Book: Report
According to Michael Wolff, the author of the newly released book “Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House,” President Donald Trump is “bouncing off the walls” with anger over the book.
Citing sources inside the White House, Wolf told The Hollywood Reporter:
“I hear that the president is very angry, or, let me be precise: I hear that he is truly bouncing off the walls.”
He added that he didn’t get the sense that Trump “has thought of anything other than himself at any given time.”
“Certainly he was very open with me, accessible with me, and then he started to talk. Did he ever listen to me for one second? I never got that feeling. He just talks at you,” Wolff told the news outlet.
Wolff’s book, along with news that a group of mostly Democratic lawmakers met with a psychiatrist for a briefing on Trump’s mental health, has prompted questions about Trump’s mental state.
Trump fired back at his critics saying in a series of tweets early Saturday that he was a “stable genius” and “like, really smart.”
The president also addressed the controversy during a rumbling news conference at Camp David where he boasted about attending “the best colleges” and suggested that winning the presidency on his first try makes him a “real genius.”
By the way, Barack Obama won the White House on his first try but never claimed to be smarter than anyone else.
