Rand Paul Torched For Complaining About Quarantine Laws In Kentucky As He Recovers From The Virus
Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) took to Twitter on Friday to complain about the measures being taken in Kentucky to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
According to Paul, Christians should get a special pass come Easter Sunday so they can attend church if they so wanted to.
Paul criticized the state’s decision to take down license plates of people who leave their homes to attend church on Sunday.
Taking license plates at church? Quarantining someone for being Christian on Easter Sunday? Someone needs to take a step back here.

Paul himself is recovering from the virus as he tested positive.
People on Twitter weren’t thrilled with Paul’s complaints and called him out for it. Here are some of the responses:
You literally spent a week wandering around the Senate building while waiting for your POSITIVE test result, endangering countless fellow legislators, staff and members of the public.
You're definitely not one to lecture anybody else on responsibility.

If libertarians were in charge during this pandemic…we'd all be dead. End of story.

They are not being quarantined for being Christian.
They are being quarantined for being stupid and gathering in crowds during a fucking pandemic.

This, from the man who cavorted with GOP Senators and swam in the Senate pool *after* deciding there was enough risk that he might be infected to get himself tested.
He's the one who needs to take a step back. https://t.co/TKJpiGtfx8

Health care workers are profiles in courage.
Rand Paul and his fellow hive larvae are profiles in psychosis.

Being Christian, they should #StayTheFHome to help save lives.

Yeah, I'm going to take advice from a guy who tested positive and went swimming and into crowds for a week
