REPORT: Clinton Received Threats After Trump’s Second Amendment Comments During Campaign

Donald Trump said on August 9th, 2016, said “By the way, if she (Hillary Clinton) gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do folks. Although, the Second Amendment people maybe there is. I don’t know.”

This is a statement that was talked about a lot. Many people said that Trump was encouraging his followers to shoot Hillary Clinton, although the Trump campaign denied any of those accusations.

Now, naional security and intelligence community journalist Michael Best reported on Thursday that he received documents from the Secret Service that revealed that Clinton received threats as a result of Trump’s comments/

Secret Service documents “indicate they did see threats against Hillary Clinton seemingly as a result of Trump’s ‘2nd Amendment people’ comment,” Best writes on Twitter, adding, “DHS’ reaction to Trump’s “2nd Amendment people” comments: ‘YIKES!’”

This wasn’t the first time that Trump or his team made controversial comments on Clinton. The Secret service investigated Trump adviser, Al Baldasaro, after he called for Clinton’s execution on the radio. Clinton “should be put in the firing line and shot for treason.”
